Is it Biblical to Give Tithes and Offerings?

In this sermon Pastor Anderson goes over verse after verse after verse on why tithes and offerings are biblical. As Christians we should be giving 10% of what we earn to our local church so that the Gospel of Christ can be spread. People who work deserve to be paid. And the most important job in the world is being a Pastor and of course they deserved to be paid for what they do. They serve the lord full time, the least we can do is give them a pay check. And if Jesus did not want full time Pastors then why did he tell Peter to quit his fishing job and learn how to fish men?
