Commandments in the Torah

    This is a series that looks at every commandment in the Mosaic law. This series is sparked from the fact that Jewish scholars such as Maimonides have counted 613 commandments in the Torah. Pastor Anderson decided to see if this is true by going through the first five books himself. His Criteria was Commandments that can be applied unto everyone and not just unique to one person at that time.
Commandments in the Torah
1) Be Fruitful and Multiply (Having kids is not Optional) (Genesis 1:28)
2) Have dominion over the animals (Do not Worship Animals) (Genesis 1:28)
3) Leave Parents and Marry wife becoming one Flesh (Genesis 2:24)
4) Do not Eat meat with Blood (Genesis 9:4)
5) Execute Murderers (Genesis 9:6)
6) Fear not (Don't fear anything but the Lord) (Genesis 15:1)
7) Walk Before God (Walk with acknowledgment that he is there) (Genesis 17:1)
8) Be Perfect (Be Complete, be Christian in every part of your life) (Genesis 17:1)
9) Every man should be circumcised on the 8th day (Genesis 17:10-12)
10) Uncircumcised men souls shall be cut off (Genesis 17:14)
11) Get rid of False Gods (Genesis 35:2)
12) Be Clean (Genesis 35:2)
13) Change Your Garments (Change Clothes) (Genesis 35:2)
14) Observe the First Month when they were saved from Egypt (Exodus 12:2)
15) On the tenth day of the month select a Lamb for each house (Exodus 12:3-4)
16) Lamb Must be Without Blemish (Exodus 12:5)
17) Sacrifice the Lamb on the 14th day (Exodus 12:6)
18) Putting the Blood on the Door Post (Exodus 12:7)
19) Eat the Flesh of the Passover (Exodus 12:8)
20) Passover must be Roasted with Fire (Exodus 12:8)
21) Let none of the Passover remain until morning
22) Eat the Passover Quickly
23) Feast of the Passover should be kept through all generations
24) Eat unleavened bread for Seven days
25) Anyone who ate Leavened Bread is to be cut off from Israel
26) First and seven day should be a holy convocation
27) No Work should be done during the seven days
28) No Leavened is to be in your House during the Seven days
29) Once in the house they must stay inside until morning
30) Tell the Story of the Passover to Children
31) No Stranger Shall eat of the Passover
32) Servant that is Bought with money if Circumcised shall eat the Passover
33) Do not Eat the Passover house to house eat in one house
34) The bones of the Lamb should not be broken
35) No Uncircumcised Shall Eat the Passover
36) One Law or Justice for the Strangers and Citizens (same Laws)
37) Set Apart or Sanctify the firstborn of man and beast to the Lord
38) Instead of a firstborn Ass (Donkey) redeem a Lamb in its place
39) If you don't replace it then Break the Neck of the Ass
40) All the Firstborn of the man you should redeem.
41) Thou shalt have no other gods before me
42) Don't make any Graven Image of anything or Worship them
43) Don't use the Lord God Name in Vain
44) Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy
45) Honor thy father and thy mother
46) Do not Murder
47) Do not commit adultery
48) Do not steal
49) Do Not Lie against someone else or repeat lies from others
50) Do not covet (Desire things that do not belong to you)
51) Build an Alter of Earth
52) Only Build Stone Alter of Natural Stone (don't make out of Brick)
53) Do not make steps up to the Alter
54) You can only have a servant for 6 years
55) If he is Married before he becomes a servant his wife can go free with him, if he gets married while he is a servant then when his service is up then the wife and kids must stay or buy her out of servitude
56) If the servant likes serving they can Gauge ear to symbolize to serve owner forever
57) And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
58) If the man does not like his servant he betrothed let her go free
59) If the man betrothed her unto his son then treat her as a daughter
60) If a man take another wife he should provide and have physical relationship with both
61) If he does not do 60 then she shall go free
62) If a man kill someone in the moment of rage then he can flee
63) If someone hits their Parents then they shall be put to death
64) Kidnappers shall be put to death
65) Kids that Curse (Wishing Evil upon someone) their Parents shall be put to death
66) If a person harms someone they are to pay for the Loss of their time and to heal them
67) If a man Smite his servant with the Rod and Kill them he shall be punished
68) If a servant dies 2 days after a beating then the master won't be punished
69) If men are fighting and they hurt a Pregnant women and her child dies and it was an accident then they should be punished as the father or Judges determine
70) If someone kills a child in the womb then they shall be put to death
71) Life for Life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe
72) If a man smite the eye of their servant and it blinds the eye then he will let the servant go free
73) If a man smite out the Tooth of his servant then he shall let his servant go free
74) If an Ox kills someone the Ox must be put to death and cannot be eaten
75) If an Ox has been know to be mean and the owner does nothing and then the Ox ends up killing someone then the Ox and the Owner shall be put to death
76) From Commandment 75: as Judges determine the owner can pay a ransom for his life
77) If a servant is harmed by an Ox the owner must pay the master of the servants thirty shekels of silver and the Ox shall be killed
78) If a man dig a hole and not cover it and someones beast falls in then man shall pay the owner for their loss and they can keep the dead beast
79) If one mans Ox Kill another mans Ox then they shall sell the live Ox and divide the money and the meat from the dead Ox evenly
80) If the Ox is known to be vicious and its owner does not keep him locked up and it get out and kill someone else's Ox then the owner shall pay Ox for Ox and he will keep the dead Ox
81) If a man Steal an Ox or Sheep and kill or sell it then he shall pay back five Ox or Four Sheep to the owner
82) If a thief breaks in at night and is shot a killed then the Owner shall not be put to death (Self defense)
83) If a thief breaks in during the day and owner kills him then he is a murderer and shall be put to death, instead they must catch them and make them pay back what they stole or sell them into servitude
84) If a man Steal an Ox or Sheep and it is still alive then he shall pay back two Ox or Sheep
85) If a man let his Animals eat in some else's crop then the man shall give of the best of his own field to make restitution
86) If a man cause fire to burn down someones property then they are Liable to pay back the damage
87) If a man steal and is not caught then the owner of the stolen goods can go to the Judges to determine who did it and whomever is found guilty shall pay double unto his neighbor
88) If a man borrow an animal from someone and it dies then he shall pay for the Loss, except it be tore or a wild beast then it was not the borrowers fault
89) If the owner was there when it died then the borrower is not at Fault
90) If a man commits Fornication with a virgin girl he must endow her to be his wife
91) If the Father of the girl refuses to let him marry then he must pay the dowry of virgins
92) A witch (Demonic Communicator) shall be put to death
93) Whosoever lie with a beast shall surely be put to death
94) Whosoever shall sacrifice unto other Gods other than the real God Shall be destroyed
95) Do not oppress a foreigner, for ye were strangers in Egypt
96) Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child
97) When you lend money do not Charge ANY interest
