Proof that God Exists

The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ

Why is Jesus the only true God?

Now that you realize the foolishness of not believing in God why is the one true God have to be Jesus? Christianity is unique from all other religions in that it tells the truth about mankind. Most religions are all about working your way to heaven. But they all have laws that all people  have broken. The sin of lying is a sin that many religions have. This particular sin has been used  by most people but even if you have never lied you have still done something wrong. This is a problem! If no one has kept the law then no one will go to Heaven. The difference between other religions and Christianity is that it explains how this problem is solved.

 Admit You are a Sinner

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
So according to the Holy Bible God says everyone has sinned. Meaning everyone has done things wrong.  Some examples: Lie, steal, murder, fornication (Sex before Marriage),  and Adultery are just a few sins that the bible says are wrong. You most likely have not committed all of these sins but the bible is clear that it does not matter you have still transgressed the law. (James 2:10) Now this does not mean all sin is equal but it just means that all sin is still a sin no matter how small a sin it is still wrong to commit it.

 Admit you Deserve Hell

I could paint a pretty picture about how everyone when they die will go to some place nice but the fact of the matter is that is not True. No matter what you think or believe there is a place called hell... believe me no one wants to believe in hell but that does not make it disappear. Now I know what you're thinking, you're thinking great, now I have to follow some stink-en rules. But Gods law is good so what does that say about us? If we are truly being honest we will say these laws are good and they really are! Don't lie, steal, murder, etc; these laws are Good and they actually protect us from hurting ourselves as well as others. God is good, that is why there is a law and that is why he will uphold it on judgment day. The bible say in Revelation 21:8 - But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Notice how it says All LIARS, I have lied before and if you say you haven't fine but you have at least sinned one time because Romans 3:23 said so and you only have to sin once to deserve hell! People think that only really bad people will go to hell but that is not True. Everyone deserves hell, even if they have only sinned one time! So pretty much no one deserve to go to Heaven. We all deserve Hell, because we have sinned.

What is Hell?

Well, this is a good question. This is what you probably think hell is; "Hell is a place ruled by Satan where people who disobey God's law are thrown to be punished for all eternity." Believe it or not but this is only part biblical. The bible describes hell as a burning pit of sulfur. Hell is not ruled by Satan it is ruled by God. Satan will be prisoner there just the same as those who do not follow Gods Law are. In fact the bible is very clean in saying that hell is the burning wrath of God's justice against evil. As mentioned before if we have sinned then we are evil. It may seem harsh but if you offend an all knowing all powerful, infinite God then you deserve infinite punishment. Another myth about hell is that it is not eternal. The bible is very clear when it comes to saying hell is infinite.
Matthew 25:41 [Jesus speaking to people at final judgment], ...Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.
Matthew 25:46, And these shall go away into EVERLASTING punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
There is no question then according to the bible hell is eternal. Which makes sense because God is outside of time.

Why is there a Hell?

God is good. Sense God is good he cannot tolerate evil, even the smallest of sins like a small lie. This may seem harsh to you but to a being of pure perfection and goodness, deception is pure evil. In fact the Devil would have no power what so ever if he couldn't lie. Lying may seem small to us but if you see what God sees you will understand that lying is probably the worst sin in the history of mankind. What about forgiveness? I have prayed every night for God to forgive me of my sins. So will I still go to hell? Well, let us take that to court. Let's say there is a thief on trial. The thief then says to the good judge "Hey, can you just please forgive me for stealing and I can go." Will, the good judge just let him go? No, of course not! He will be punished. Same with God. We have sinned against God and since he is good then he cannot just forgive our sins he has to punishes every sin. (Proverbs 11:21) That is what true justice is. Well, what if my good that I do outweighs the bad sins that I commit?  Well, the problem with this theory is that sin has heap up wages for us Romans 6:23a "For the wages of sin is death;" So you see Good works mean nothing when it comes to outweigh our sins because the payment we owe is not good works it is Death! So the only way to pay for our sins is to pay for them in hell and unfortunately if we have only sinned once then it will take forever to pay off that one sin! But lets face it we have all sinned way more than once! So if Good Works do nothing to pay for sin then what can?

The Gospel of Christ

Finally, here is the good part of this page. So far we have learned that we are sinners, how we all rightful deserve hell, what exactly is hell, and why there is a hell. We know that God cannot rightfully forgive our sins because he is righteous and good he cannot let a sin go unpunished. And we learned that No amount of works can ever make up for the wrong against God. Is there any hope? The answer is yes! God did something that happened almost 2,000 years ago because God is not only good and just but he is loving. He sent his son, Jesus Christ born of a virgin and sinless to die on the cross.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
It was at that moment that God crushed his son on the cross and the full wrath of God was thrown onto Jesus. The sins of world were placed on Jesus for God to punish. Then three days later Jesus rose from Hell(Acts 2:31) and is now crowned King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Let's go back to the court case with the thief, let say you are the thief. The good judge then says, "can you pay your fine of $50,000 bail?" and you say, "no I have no money". Then all of the sudden the door opens up and a man walks up to the judge with a check and says here I will pay his fine. That is what Jesus has done for us! We are guilty before God and God will ask us someday if we can pay our debt. He will say Romans 6:23a "For the wages of sin is death.." can you pay your debt? So the debt you owe to God is way bigger than just $50,000 you literally owe God eternal death for all your sins! But Jesus has already paid that debt for everyone who is and has lived!  Everyone in the world can potentially be saved! Romans 6:23b "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."  Read these verses:

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Acts 16:31 "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."

The Problem

What is the problem then? Jesus has paid the price and everyone is free from sin and will go to Heaven right? Well, no not exactly. Just because the man has wrote the check to pay the fine doesn't mean you have decided to let him pay it. The same with Jesus, he has already wrote the check for your salvation but it is up to you to choose salvation. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved! Also, remember that salvation is only by faith alone. Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
This is very important and it set Christianity apart from all others, If you are trusting on works to save you then your not saved! You must believe on the Lord Jesus completely and not trust on any works that you do! So what then we can just sin all we want? Well, it is by faith alone that you are saved from Hell, but God did not save us from condemnation that will happen while we are still alive. If you really are saved and you believe, then God promises that he will discipline those whom he loves so you will be punished a lot in this life if you continue in your sin. If you believe and are truly saved you will not go to hell but your life will be a living hell. Also James chapter 2 talks about What does in profit to have salvation and not tell others? You won't get anyone else saved. You will also miss out on many blessings that God gives in this life and you will miss out on rewards in heaven. So how do you get saved? Just pray to the lord and ask him to save you and believe that he died was buried and rose again for your sins! If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and Trust him 100% then you are now saved! Congrats, you have eternal life! What do I mean by 100%? Well, some people today who confess to be Christians know that we must believe in Jesus but they also believe that you have to do works in order to stay saved, be saved, or prove they are saved but this is FALSE! We must trust 100% on what Christ did and not of Any works of Righteousness that we can do. Otherwise the bible says we would be able to boast!
Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
You see Salvation is a gift you do not have to do anything to receive a gift except open it. if salvation was something you had to work to get then why would be bible compare it to a gift? Makes no sense! Also because salvation is a gift we cannot lose it! If you believe you can lose your salvation you ARE NOT SAVED! Repent of trusting on yourself and believe in Jesus sacrifice alone. Also if you believe another religion before believing in Jesus you must forsake that religion and only believe in Jesus. You can't believe in Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, or any other religion and also Christianity, you must only believe in Jesus Christ alone. Repent of what you currently believe and believe in the saving grace of God! If you have done this then Congrats you are saved! Now that you are saved God wants you to live for him by Joining a True Church getting the right Bible the KJV and preaching the Gospel to others so that that can also get the Gift of God!
