Jonah Chapters 3-4

In this sermon Pastor Anderson Preaches on the second half of the book of Jonah. These passages teach us that we need to be open to preaching and be sorrowful when we sin. Instead of being like Jonah who doesn't repent we need to be like the people of Nineveh who turned form there evil way and were sorry after hearing the warnings of Jonah's preaching. The story also teaches us the difference between spiritual salvation and physical salvation. If we believe in Christ we are saved and we do not have to do any works to get saved but if we don't repent of our sins we will receive punishment from the lord in this life. You see if we have to repent to be saved spiritually then technically Jonah is not saved since he never repented of his stuborn heart against the people of Nineveh.
