Matthew 19: 14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
This sermon goes over why it is unbiblical to take babies out of the main service and let strangers watch them. Even though babies can't fully understand the preaching they are still learning. The thought is of course we need to keep the kids away from the preaching so they will not disrupt the service but when a baby is being disruptive then it can be taken out by the mother until he or she calms down. There is no reason to take that baby away from their mother and put in a separate room. Especially, in today's society when we have wicked people all over the place and who knows who has crept in unawares. As parents we cannot be naive enough to think that everyone who goes to our church is a saved righteous person.
